Step by step

  1. Open Download your information

    Go to Accounts Center, then Your information and permissions, then Download your information. Sign in if asked.

  2. Choose the Facebook profile

    If your accounts are linked, select the Facebook profile whose data you want.

  3. Select information and range

    Pick which categories to include (posts, photos, messages, and more) and choose "All time" for a complete copy.

  4. Pick format and quality

    Choose JSON for machine-readable data (best for Muletto) or HTML to read in a browser, and set media quality to high.

  5. Create the file and wait

    Submit the request. Meta prepares the download and notifies you when it is ready.

  6. Download the file

    Return to Download your information and download every part before the link expires.
